About
A parent company for the businesses people depend on.
Coniungo Labs builds and backs products that connect people to everyday businesses, starting with the barber, the salon and the corner shop.
The name
coniungo
Latin, verb · “I join, I connect, I unite”
The name is the job.
We join people to the businesses they depend on. We join small businesses to tools that used to be out of reach. And through Coniungo Commons, we join developers to the work we share.
Each product we build takes its own name. Coniungo is the part that holds them together.
How we’re organised
One parent. Products with their own names, and work we share in the open.

A note from the founder
For six years I’ve built systems people rely on without thinking about them: telecoms networks in Lagos, payment ledgers, a marketplace for buying and merging businesses, and one of the first hospitality booking platforms in Africa.
Coniungo Labs is where that work comes together. Gbamgbam, our first product, brings booking and payment to the salons and barbers people visit every week, with a deposit that holds the chair.
I trained as an engineer in Nigeria and the UK, with a BEng from Bells University of Technology and an MSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Essex. The tools we make along the way, like coniungo-ui, go into Coniungo Commons, so other builders can start further ahead.
We’ll grow slowly, and keep our promises small enough to keep.
What we believe
Four things we hold to, whatever we build next.
- 01
Start with the everyday.
A haircut, a weekly shop, a repair. We build for the visits people make without thinking twice.
- 02
Stay in the background.
Each product keeps its own name, site and team. We back it, then step aside.
- 03
Build in the open.
What other teams can use, we share through Coniungo Commons, and we credit the people who help.
- 04
Earn trust slowly.
Clear prices, fair deposits and data that stays with the people it belongs to.
